With the Forest of Dean on her doorstep Molly has a special interest in woodlands. Trees are like the planet’s lungs and, if properly managed, can support us in addressing the problem of climate change. Trees can also provide renewable sources of bio-energy and, as a construction material, wood can hold carbon dioxide that would otherwise be adding to the dangerous levels of CO2 in the atmosphere.

As a member of the Agriculture Committee Molly is keeping a close eye on the Forestry Policy that is currently passing through the Parliament.
